School SmartsThe
Alameda Unified School District is offering School Smarts to all the
elementary schools in our district. School Smarts is a free 7-week
parent education and leadership program taking place on 2/2/12 thru
3/15/12 right on Bay Farm campus. The program gives parents the
knowledge and tools they need to ensure their child’s success all the
way from elementary school through college. It also provides parents
with information on how to navigate the school environment so parents
know how to get involved in their child’s school and be the best
advocate they can be for their student(s). Every class includes
childcare and dinner. This program is sponsored by the California State PTA with support from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. School Smarts Information Night Date: Wednesday, 1/11/12 Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm Location: Bay Farm School Multi-Purpose Room This
